    Auto-save Gmail attachments to Dropbox
    01 · How it works

    Two clicks, then forever.

One sign-in, one cloud permission, and a folder appears. We never modify your inbox — we read it, find attachments, and copy them to your Dropbox.

    STEP 01

    Connect Gmail

Sign in with Gmail, grant read-only access to messages and attachments. Never write, never delete.

    STEP 02

    We file each new attachment

Every new email is checked against our vendor library. Match → file. No match → skip. Filing happens within seconds.

    STEP 03

    Library lives in Dropbox

Files belong to you, in your Dropbox. Cancel us, the library stays. Share the folder with your accountant any time.

    02 · Folder structure

    What your Dropbox looks like.

One root folder, one subfolder per vendor. Filenames are predictable — sender, date, amount when we can find it. Nothing weird.

    03 · Vendor library

~500 senders recognized out of the box.

The most common SaaS, payments, and payroll senders are already mapped. Add your own rules in seconds for anything custom — landlords, freelancers, boutique vendors.

    04 · Permissions

Exactly what we can see and do.

The minimum scopes available for this kind of work. We can't send mail. We can't touch files we didn't create. We never read the body of your documents.

    Gmail · read-only

    scope: read-only messages

    • Read sender, subject, date
    • Download attachments
    • Send, modify, or delete email
    • Read email body for AI/OCR

    Dropbox · app folder

    scope: app folder only

    • Create /AutoFileEmail/ folder
    • Write files we created
    • Read other files in your cloud
    • Modify or delete unrelated files
    05 · FAQ

    About this integration.

How is AutoFileEmail different from Receiptor?

We do not run OCR or AI on your receipts. We simply file the attachment in your Drive, organized by vendor and date. That is why our forward filing is free and our backfill packs start at $29.

Where do my files end up?

Inside your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive — in folders organized by vendor and date. You own the folder structure, not us.

Do you store my email content?

No. We pass attachments straight from your inbox into your cloud drive. Nothing is mirrored on our servers.

    How much does it cost?

Forward filing is free forever on 1 inbox. Pro is $14.99/month or $149/year for 5 inboxes plus advanced features. Backfill packs (one-time) start at $29.
