We read file your receipts.
AutoFileEmail watches your inbox and saves every business document — invoices, receipts, statements — straight into your Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox, organized by vendor and date. No OCR. No dashboard. No reading the inside of your mail. Just files in folders.
Works with the inboxes and clouds you already have
- Gmail
- Outlook · M365
- iCloud · IMAP
- Google Drive
- OneDrive
- Dropbox
Filing happens automatically — never lift a finger again.
Most "smart inbox" tools want to think about your email. Categorize it. Extract amounts. Push the data into QuickBooks. Show you a dashboard.
We don't do any of that. We just notice when an invoice arrives, save the PDF into your Drive in the right folder, and move on. The file is yours. The folder is yours. The library is yours.
If you cancel, your folders stay exactly as they are. We were never holding them — we were just filing.
Connect once. Forget forever.
Three steps. The whole setup takes about 90 seconds, and the longest part is reading the OAuth consent screen.
Sign into your inbox and cloud.
OAuth into your inbox (Gmail, Outlook, or any IMAP host) and pick where files should land — Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. We never see your password.
Last 12 months, filed in minutes.
We scan a year of email and back-file every receipt and invoice we can identify. Watch the counter climb past a thousand — your folders become tax-ready before you've finished your coffee.
It runs forever, in the background.
New mail arrives, we file it within a minute. You'll know it's working because of a quiet weekly digest — and because you never think about it again.
We see the envelope. Not what's inside.
To file something, we only need three things: the sender domain, the subject line, and the attachment filename. We never open, parse, OCR, or read the contents of your documents.
- No OCR, no LLM, no inferenceThat's why forward filing is free instead of $29/mo. There's no GPU bill to pass on.
- Attachments stream straight to your cloudWe never persist your documents on our servers. Files arrive in our system, leave 30 seconds later.
- Sender-domain matching, by handWe maintain a library of ~500 known business domains. No probabilistic guessing about your private mail.
- Your library lives in your cloudDrive, OneDrive, or Dropbox — not in our database. You hold the only copy. Cancel anytime; your folders are untouched.
Two camps already exist. Both miss the job.
Bookkeeping pipelines turn your invoices into thumbnails for QuickBooks. Dumb-save tools dump everything in one folder. We're the missing third option: pure organization, no data extraction, no dashboard.
It is deliberately not these things.
Saying no is part of the product. Every feature we don't build is one less thing for you to learn, configure, or pay for.
An OCR tool
Receiptor, WellyBox, Veryfi do that. They charge $29+ to read your documents. We just save them.
A bookkeeping pipeline
Hubdoc and Dext push data into QuickBooks. If that's what you need, use them — not us.
An expense report generator
Expensify, Ramp, Brex are built for that. We don't reconcile, categorize, or sum.
An AI dashboard
No "AI-powered" badges, no chatbot, no insights. The dashboard is your cloud — Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox.
An email client
We don't send, compose, or modify. We file attachments. Your inbox stays untouched.
Enterprise DMS
NetDocuments and iManage have an IT-led sale and a six-figure price tag. We have a $5 button.
Two products. Buy one, the other, or both.

Backfill Packs — one-time, separate.
Scan and file your past inbox in one heavy sweep. No subscription required. Each pack covers one inbox.
One-time charge. No recurring billing. Library lives in your cloud forever — even if you never subscribe to Pro.
We don't read your documents. We just file them. That's why forward filing is free, and past filing is fairly priced.
Things people ask before signing up.
Why is forward filing free but backfill costs money?
Filing one new email is cheap — one Drive write, one webhook, done. Scanning years of inbox history is heavy work: thousands of API calls, downloads, and uploads, hours of compute on heavy inboxes. We charge for the heavy part and give the easy part away.
Do I need a subscription to use Backfill Packs?
No. Packs are one-time purchases, no subscription required. Buy a pack, your past inbox gets filed, you keep the library forever — it lives in your cloud, not ours.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Filing pauses, but every file already in your cloud stays there. Your library is yours. Re-subscribe anytime to resume filing new emails — you don't lose anything.
What if I have more than 5 inboxes?
Email us. The 5-inbox cap on Pro is a fair-use guideline, not a hard wall — genuine power users will be accommodated. We'd rather have a quick conversation than auto-block someone who's actually using the product the way it's meant to be used.
Do you read my emails?
No. We look at the sender's domain to decide where to file the attachment. We never open the document, never extract data, never categorize for taxes. That's why we can charge $14.99 instead of $29 — there's no GPU bill behind the scenes.
The last time you'll dread tax season.
Connect Gmail and Drive, watch the 30-day preview file itself, and never think about new email attachments again. Forward filing is free, forever. When tax season comes, grab a Backfill Pack and we'll sweep the rest of your history.
