Privacy Policy

1. We don't read your receipts

AutoFileEmail's entire premise is that we file your attachments without analyzing their content. We do not run OCR on receipts, we do not extract line items, and we do not feed your documents through any LLM or AI categorization.

2. Information we collect

• Account info (your email address) for authentication
• OAuth tokens for the inboxes and clouds you connect
• Vendor + sender metadata extracted from email headers (used to pick the destination folder)
• Service logs (errors, sync timestamps) for reliability
• Billing info (handled by Stripe — we never see card data)

3. What we do NOT store

• The contents of your email body (we read attachment metadata only)
• The contents of your filed attachments — they stream from your inbox directly into your cloud drive without persistent storage on our infrastructure
• Your inbox or cloud passwords (we use OAuth wherever possible)

4. Where your files live

Inside your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive — never ours. If you cancel your subscription or delete your account, your filed library remains exactly where it is. You own the folder structure.

5. Third parties

We use Stripe (billing), Vercel (hosting), and the Google / Microsoft / Dropbox APIs you authorize. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

6. Your rights

You can revoke our access from your Google / Microsoft / Dropbox account at any time. You can request deletion of your account and all associated metadata by emailing support@autofile.email.
